So I began working on my second piece ever. And I basically found out that I consistently make 30 seconds of work every hour- figuring out what comes next, teaching it, and reviewing so they remember. This piece is about different bodies relating to a story. About how living the events as someone can feel like a shadow (peter pan?). It is about gender, gendered bodies, stereotypes, and perception. It is about living an event and releasing from it. It is about training and ability, the human condition and individual experiences, and other. It is about fluid.
Thought of the day: Anticipating movement when there is no timing. How can you say I wasn’t ready to go onto the next thing when it was time if there wasn’t a specific moment it was supposed to happen to begin with?
