So there has been something that has really been biting my ass, Facebook Profile Pictures.
Things I do prefer about them: Update them at least once a year- I know that you love to play Farmville, but it would be nice to know what you look like if I randomly decide to drop you a line, That they are a picture of you- same reason, That if you are going to post more frequently than twice a month that you choose a different kind of expression/image- your face 24 times in a myspace angle could just go in another album titled “I learned that one angle that makes everyone look ‘better’ and I’m too lazy to look for another one that works on myself” (maybe that is just too long and it doesn’t make you look better).
So I went through a friend of a friend’s profile picture album:
- Two young boys- sons or grandchildren? alright maybe that day you felt that they meant the world to you
- Some random logo- not you but we can let it slide since I have no idea who you are
- Similar Logo says the name of the band- okay I’m glad you like them but not you or a band you are in so it really isn’t a good representation of you.
- Sunset over a lake- Still no photo of you maybe put this in a photo album titled “I wanted to actually take a motivational poster photo”
- Old picture of yourself and your mom- Okay at least you are in it, amusing because of the clothing, but your comment states she was a wonderful mom and grandma. You might be focusing on the role of a woman is to be a mom. So basically this is a picture of your children.
- Family dog- Brindled Frenchie is a good choice, pass for now.
- Easter motivational poster of a back lit cross and some word- Still not you, but Christians believe that christ is in everybody so almost if I didn’t believe that humans were selected to believe in a higher power to promote the unification into a community that allowed us to have civilization because we could now fear a Head created by a head that better promoted his awesome thoughts because he obviously had them because he could think of this awesome God— totally stole my idea, btw
- A CG back lit cross- got it… still have no idea if I actually know who you are
- Same as 7- okay you went back to 7 because you didn’t like it (all were posted on the same day) could you have deleted the middle one because if you didn’t like yourself represented that way then you shouldn’t
- Monarch butterfly sitting on a flower- Neither you, nor a familiar individual, and you didn’t even take the photo yourself. Album titles “Things too look at when I’m sad”
- Boys again- same unhappy faces….. maybe they don’t want their picture taken, but you do so they obviously are not you
- dog
- two dogs playing
- Original frenchie as a puppy in a vest- I forgive your last two
- two boys- closed mouth smile, more extremely overweight, I’m thinking about childhood diabetes
- Small Digital image of Happy New Year- okay you probably wanted to tell people a happy New Year but you didn’t want to go to individual pages and type it out or send it over and over, but you probably did and you could have just made it your status
- Happy new year again- Same day as the first one, still a tiny image but larger font…. Why did you change it?
- Cartoon Christmas village- love christ and romantic ideas of holidays because that means family to you and you love your family
- Fbook app generated photo that includes random photos from through out the year- none of them include you.
- Young boy- you got into a fight with the other?
- both boys- you obviously got into the fight after this was posted because you realized one almost had a genuine smile.
- same picture but with a greeting card text box- hmmmmmm
- old cartoon image- not you, and you probably aren’t that funny
- children with father…
The rest are of children and animals… with one blurry photo taken from a camera phone, I’m not shocked by what I saw. Anyways, all I’m saying is: your children are not your entire life, you have amazing moments that exist without them, you could be in a photo with them, images of as poor motivational cross are really not you- and it can be represented in your info section, I don’t judge what you look like but it would be nice to have a visual representation while I judge everything else you post.
